Memorial Day Weekend

We had such a busy weekend! Annabelle met many family members for the first time.

Papa Bill came to visit and had a great time hanging out with Annabelle!





Then, we saw Great Grandma and Great Grandpa





and Cousin Dylan (and his adorable fiancee, Teresa)





We also visited with some great friends for a BBQ on Memorial Day. I didn't get pictures of everyone, but here is Jewel and Jude, and Elizabeth and Jasie:





Even with all this activity, Annabelle did great! She's such a good baby - she'll let anyone hold her and she's generally happy. :) Now all of our family is gone, and we're back to normal for the rest of the week.

They say (who are "they" anyway) that time flies, but seriously - I can't believe it's been a month!

Our Blog!

Well, things are finally starting to settle down! I'm excited to start this blog, as a way to keep our family and friends updated with happenings, big and small, with our little family!

So much has happened in the past month! Annabelle Joy entered our lives on April 19, 2010. This was three days after her due date. Here we are just entering the hospital. We were so excited to meet our little one!





Annabelle arrived at 11:59 pm, weighing 6 pounds 13 ounces, and 19.5 inches long!



She was healthy and happy! Here's proud, new Daddy:

Our new family, finally home on April 21.



It's amazing how quickly time passes. In the past month, we have gotten to know our little girl pretty well. She likes: Mommy's milk, snuggling with Mommy and Daddy, kisses on her face, Mommy's hair tickling her, listening to music, rocking with Daddy, and car rides. She dislikes: dirty diapers and being put down in the afternoon hours.
